Ok so I totally took these pictures from my sister.... but I just had to have them for the memories.... {and we haven't really taken any since then} We had our engagement pictures taken the other day... {I can't wait to see them!!!! They are going to be good...}

****ENGAGED****
Ok so I know that this post is a few days late... Ok make that a couple of weeks late.... but it has been hard to get around to posting this with everything going on.
So for those of you who do not know the story here it is....
Friday March 27th I was leaving from work a little early, because we had our Spring Conference that night and I had to go home and get ready, on my way home I called Stephen just to talk to him. We were talking when he said that he was going to get up and give thanks to everyone that had been a part of getting this together and at that time that we were going to give honor to our pastor and pastor's wife. He said that he had some roses that he wanted me to come up on stage and give to her when he got up there to start talking {it should have been obvious from this point}. I told him that I would only after he told me that no one else would help him with this. lol... During this time I had been aggrevating him over some stuff that we had been talking about and told him that he had told me that he would be proposing within the next 4 weeks about 3 weeks prior to this conversation. He told me that I needed to stop thinking about it that I would ruin anything that he had planned. He also told me at this point that he would need about a two week extention because the place that he wanted to do this at was not ready yet. So I said ok hung up the phone and went home to get ready. When I arrived at the school I was talking to everyone and he walked up, handed me the roses and asked me to hold them. After this point I don't think that I saw him again until he got up on the stage. While walking around holding the roses, people kept coming up to me telling me how pretty the roses were, all the while I was telling them that they were not mine.... {yeah I felt really stupid at the end of the night}.... so we go in the auditorium to get ready for the concert and I make sure that I am on the outside so that I don't have to go crawling over anyone to get out to go on the stage and made sure that I was close enough so that I didn't make a big scene to walk down the aisle. After the concert was over just before the preacher got up, Stephen's dad got up there to talk for a moment before Stephen {I would later find out that he was the one who took the ring up there}..... So when I saw Stephen go up there and start talking I made my way up to the stage to stand off on the side where no one could see me {although they all saw me walk up there and hide....} Anyway.... Man this is turning into a long story..... He starts thanking everyone and then he was talking about Bro and Sis Snowden and how when young men start to look for a wife that they should put the girl up against Sis Snowden. {In my mind at this point a very quick thought ran through my head that it was really weird that he would mention this tonight... but oh well... } So then he looked at me and told me to walk on out there. I walked out there and was looking at the Snowden's just smiling and they are looking at me smiling and I was wondering what was going on. It took a few seconds for me to realize that they were not coming up on the stage for this. He then began to say that when he started looking for a wife that he found the closest possible thing to Sis Snowden.... At this point he pulled the ring out from the pulpit {which his dad had taken up there and hidden for him}.... Once he did this everyone in the room stood up and started yelling.... I on the other hand started backing away from him shaking my head because I could not believe that he was doing this here on the stage in front of everyone... That's when he looked at me and asked me to come back over there or he would chase me to ask me.... lol.... He said some of the sweetest things and then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.... And the rest is history.... We are getting married in September and I can't wait....
